Stevie’s notes:
After a knee injury, I designed myself a single fin for J-Bay, one that I could surf switch foot and just cruise on, just to get back into surfing slowly... it went amazing and become the prototype for this model. It was amazing how you could cover ground through a round house, straight back into the pocket again with even more speed. The idea was to have a little bit of vee-rolled entry, so that If I’m in trim further up the board Its got what’s similar to the front hull of a boat, then into a bit of a belly, and into a stretched out double concave (where your front foot would be) with vee into the tail. The board banks amazingly and holds perfectly front side in the barrel... for backhand tube riding, I’d add some side bites for more hold.
