The Too Fish model is an evolution of Rob's popular 2017 "Go Fish" design, refined with insights from the Seaside. Built using Firewire Surfboards' Helium Technology, it delivers a light, lively feel underfoot while offering enhanced durability compared to traditional surfboard construction. This is achieved through aerospace deck skins on both the top and bottom, and rails made from a blend of paulownia and balsa wood, providing controlled flex and rebound during turns for an elevated surfing experience.
Rob says that the Too Fish is:
"My favourite in small and weak waves because of how thick and floaty it is in the forward two thirds of the board, but this shape is also thinned out aggressively in the tail to enable hold in powerful waves. I've ridden the Too Fish in everything from overhead waves on the North Shore to perfect days on the reef at home, and the weakest most disorganized junk surf at the beach break in front of my house. This is my favourite board for all conditions."
