Taylor wanted his Firewire models to feature a design that caters to traditional longboarding. Dan reflects on his own appreciation for the stylish essence of 'old school' surfing, particularly influenced by riding an original Phil Edwards board that belonged to his father.
Through extensive collaboration with Taylor and drawing from his own expertise, they crafted The Special T. This board features soft 50/50 rails, a scoop nose concave, and an added tail flip. The nose entry rocker has been relaxed to improve tip riding, enabling riders to achieve maximum glide and effortless trimming.
